Takoradi Port– Sekondi Harbour (13km) – Sekondi (2km) – Takoradi (15km)
On arrival at the Takoradi port, a representative from Blastours will meet group at the pier of the cruise ship.
Start the day with a drive along the Essamen beach road to the Albert Bosomtwi Sam Fishing Harbour, the second largest fishing harbour in Ghana. Interact with fisher folk at the colourful port.
Stopover at the nearby to Fort Orange, which was built as a trading post on the then Dutch Gold Coast.
Continue with a walk through the Sekondi (Sekune) township.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Bisa Aberwa Museum, dedicated to promoting African values and celebrating Pan-African heroes.
Before returning to the port, there will be an opportunity to shop for souvenirs and local crafts, including colourful textiles, wooden carvings, and handmade jewellery.
