On arrival at the Takoradi port, a representative from Blastours will meet group for a trip to the Central Region.
Set off on a 2 1/2 hour drive to the Kakum National Park, which comprises of undisturbed virgin rainforest. Experience a walking tour on the longest and highest canopy walkway in West Africa.
Continue birding along forest trails within and surrounding the park to view species, we may have missed at the park. This will also include a visit to the bird haven at the Hans Cottage Botel.
Stop for lunch at the Kokodo Guest house to savour traditional Ghanaian cuisine.
Make a brief stopover at the Cape Coast Castle declared as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO World Heritage Foundation.
Depart on a two hour drive back to Takoradi to board ship for departure.
