Sat. 27th Dec. 2025 (Day 1)
Arrival - Accra
Upon arrival at the KIA, group will be met for a transfer to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, we can visit the Accra Shopping Mall and explore nightlife on Osu’s Oxford street, the heartbeat of Accra's nightlife scene. There are numerous of pubs, clubs, restaurants and fast food joints along the Oxford Street. End the day with a welcome dinner with a live music.

Sun. 28th Dec. (Day 2)
Accra
Start the day with a walk through Jamestown, the ‘original Accra’ with its old streets. It happens to be one of the oldest settlements full of beautifully disheveled colonial buildings and yet remains one of the most vibrant districts. Witness the traditional way of cooking some meals indigenous to West Africa including the art of molding and cooking of Ga kenkey, a skill that has been handed down by generations.
Continue to the Kwame Nkrumah and the Independence square. End the day at the Arts Centre, where you will have an opportunity to use your bargaining skills to shop from an open-air market for artifacts from Ghana and West Africa. Drumming lessons can also be taken at this time.
In the evening, in the evening you have the option to join in the AfroFuture celebrations, focused on the music, culture and art of Africa.

Mon. 29th Dec. (Day 3)
Accra /Naming ceremony
Group will be picked up from the hotel to a local community in Accra
They will be welcomed by community leaders before joining in a naming ceremony.
Amidst drumming and dancing, participants will be given traditional names by an adopted family.
Continue the day with a photoshoot dressed as local Royals (you get to keep the whole ensemble of
clothing).
Join the adopted family for a traditional meal.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Dubois Centre for Pan Africanism.
Return to our hotel to prepare for the evening’s optional activities.
You have the option to join in the AfroFuture celebrations, focused on the music, culture and art of Africa. Gold Coast Restaurant.

Tues. 30th December (Day 4)
History & Nature Tour
06:30 Early morning departure to the Central region, the former administrative Centre of the Gold Coast. Travel along a coastline marked with forts to the Kakum National Park comprising undisturbed virgin rainforest. Experience a walking tour on the longest and highest canopy walkway in West Africa.
After lunch, we visit the Cape Coast Castle declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site and its West African Historical Museum. Take a walk through the colonial city to experience the present day way of life.
Return to Accra in the late afternoon with a stopover at Anomabo, the ancestral home of Louis Armstrong.
End the day with a dinner to a live band performance.

Wed. 31st December (Day 5)
Volta Cruise
Early morning departure to Akosombo for a cruise along the Volta River.
Cruise with a stopover at the Dodi Island, enjoy a live band with a barbecue on board.
Return to Accra in the late afternoon.
Join in the New Year’s festivities.

Thurs. 01st January 2026 (DAY 6)
Free Day
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure. Explore the city of Accra, recover from the night before by sleeping in, or enjoy some free time at the beach or pool.

Fri. 02nd January (Day 7)
Batik & Beads
Start the day with a batik workshop, led by a curator with more than 30 years of experience.
Family will be taken through the techniques of making batik by working on your own batik fabric.
Your design will dry overnight and be delivered the very next day.
Join in a chocolate tasting tour in the afternoon.
End the day with with a farewell dinner at a beachfront resort.

Accra - Departure
Spend the morning free at the beach.
In the early evening, we check into airport for departure.
