Upon arrival, the group will be met by a local representative for a hotel transfer.
Spend the night in Sao Tome
(Day 2)
Sao Tome
Start the day with a visit to the National Museum, which showcases life during the colonial plantation era.
Next, visit Independence Square, formerly known as João XX Square, where the independence of São Tomé was officially declared on July 12th, 1975.
A short walk away is the Cathedral of São Tomé, the first cathedral in Africa.
Continue to the Fernão Dias Memorial, a poignant monument dedicated to the martyrs of the 1953 massacres.
If you choose, you can make a short stop at the Blue Lagoon for sightseeing and a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters. This optional detour offers a moment of relaxation amidst your cultural exploration.
In the afternoon, we will head to Anambó, the historic landing site of Portuguese explorers João de Santarém, Pêro Escobar and Fernão do Pó in December 1470. Then we will drive by the famous Diogo Vaz plantation, facing the peak of São Tomé.
Conclude your tour by driving along Infinity Road, an exceptionally scenic route offering breathtaking views of the island before heading back to your hotel.

Begin your unforgettable journey at the enchanting Botanical Garden, where you will immerse yourself in the diverse and captivating flora of the island.
Next, venture to the majestic Saint Nicholas Waterfall, where you can capture breathtaking moments with your camera and embrace the natural beauty of the surroundings.
In the afternoon visit the Coffee Museum at Roça Monte Café. Delight your senses with a tasting of locally sourced organic coffee. As you journey further, take a moment to revel in the beauty of Nova Moca Plantation, where coffee trees thrive amidst the refreshing canopy of high shade-trees, situated at an altitude of 800 meters.

São Tomé Island
Embark on a journey along the East Coast Road, where stunning landscapes, colonial heritage, and unique geological formations await.
Begin your day in the vibrant village of Santana, a hotspot for surfers and skaters. Next, visit the FACA Cultural and Recycling Center. Learn about local recycling initiatives and immerse yourself in the local culture through engaging exhibits and occasional workshops.
Continue to the historic Hospital of Agua Izé, a colonial-era medical facility. Discover its fascinating history and architecture, and gain insights into the island's medical heritage.
If there is enough time, you shall conclude your excursion with a visit to the picturesque Praia Pesqueira Waterfall where you can swim and jump off the rocks if the water level is high enough

São Tomé Island/Rolas Island – Departure
Embark on an unforgettable journey to Rolas Island, also known as 'Turtledove Island,' located just a two-and-a-half-hour drive from São Tomé's capital to Porto Alegre. Along the way, take in breathtaking sights, including the renowned Mouth of Hell and Big Dog Peak, with a delightful coffee break at Roça São João das Angolares.
