08.00 a.m. On arrival at the Tema port, a representative from Blastours will meet group for a trip to Accra.

Start the day with a Batik Workshop, led by a curator with more than 30 years of experience. You will be taken through the techniques of making batik by working on your own batik fabric.

In the afternoon, we will continue with the Art tour of Accra, including visits to the Artists Alliance Art Gallery for contemporary African art and the The Berj Gallery. Both galleries of painting and sculpture by established and up-and-coming Ghanaian artists.

Also visit the Nanof’s Art Gallery. Here we will meet the artist, recycling metal scraps into amazing art pieces.

Make a final stopover the Wild Gecko Handicrafts shop with handmade crafts from all over West Africa.

Return to Tema in the late afternoon to board vessel for departure.
