History Tour

Group will be picked up from the Takoradi port/Tema Port for a day trip to the Central Region.

On arrival, we visit the Cape Coast Castle declared as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO World Heritage Foundation and its museum (the West African Historical Museum).Elmina beach

After lunch, we will also visit the Elmina Castle, another well-preserved Castle and slave dungeon built by the Portuguese in 1482.

This castle was the first European structure built in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Return to Takoradi/Tema/Accra in the late afternoon.
