EXCELLENT Based on 40 reviews Posted on Paul G11. December, 2022. Recommend This was our first trip to Ghana. Since the cruise ship stopped in Takoradi, we had hoped to visit Elmina and Cape Coast castles, which are rated World Heritage Sites by UNESCO and are clearly of great historical interest. We were not disappointed, but rather most fortunate in this experience. The tour guide Nii Solomon was both qualified and competent. The lunch was delightful and we were returned to the port with time to spare. We recommend this tour.Posted on Luliluli16. December, 2022. Exciting Day Tour We were on a 71 day cruise around Africa and stopping in Ghana for the very first time. Since our cruise was booked in 2019 and postponed several years due to Covid, we had to find a tour operator that we could trust and could work with us through all the itinerary changes and postponements. Blastours was just that. Mimi, the manager, was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was extremely responsive and helped us taylor a tour that would fit in our limited time in port. When we finally arrived in Takoradi, to make matters worse, we were delayed by the local authorities for a couple of hours on disembarkation on the day of the tour. Since we wanted to do the skywalk in the Kakum forest which is a 2+ hour drive from the port, we were quite concerned with our ability to fit it all in and still get back to the ship on time. Blastours took really good care of us all the way through the more than difficult skywalk (that we did not quite anticipate), through providing a terrific lunch with a good bottle of local beer, and getting us back to the ship on time. I want to commend them for their organization, their guides that were very informative, and how careful they were with some of us that had mobility issues and yet or totally able to do the exciting skywalk along with the rest of the group. That was done only through the help of the guides. The lunch was great and carefully prepared well enough even for those people that were concerned with dietary issues. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend this tour company.Posted on Natalie O5. December, 2022. Girls Ghana (Accra) Trip Had a wonderful experience visiting the area with a fabulous tour guide (Nathan) who was extremely patient and knowledge. Many of our tour stops provided true cultural insight, from authentic cuisines to market interactions - with Nathan always being on point to share facts and answer questions. Also like having a separate, dedicated driver so our guide could focus on our experience. Although I wasn’t aware beforehand of several options available for our package (now I know & see online), I was still pleased. I’d recommend this company and would consider utilizing them again in the future.Posted on Tracy B5. December, 2022. Wonderful Experience The best part of the trip was being taken care of by an experienced tour leader. Nathan was prompt, knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and very attentive to our needs. He was also flexible!!!
My favorite part of the trip was the mix of urban and traditional experiences. The traditional market experience, combined with city dining and outdoor activities provided options. We were exposed to the multi faceted life in Ghana, including its history, agriculture, education systems, and economy.
I highly recommend BlasTours and would definitely visit again.Posted on BelaCatcher10. September, 2022. Adhoc and detailed excursions thru Ghana by Blas Tours A merit to smoothly organised excursions, keeping word and a garant for geting your monies worth. Always again!!Posted on Brittany30. May, 2022. Anniversary in Ghana Our guide was Michael. Michael was wonderful to me and my husband. We were warmly greeted at the airport and taken directly to a nice hotel. Michael made sure we settled into the hotel before leaving and setting a time to pick us up the next day. He was always early to pick us up from the hotel on activity days. Micheal took care of everything each time we went to a new activity which is really important when you are new to Ghana. We always felt safe and cared for. We enjoyed his personality, and we had a great time in Accra, Cape Coast, and at Volta Lake.Posted on Kwame-Roberto10. April, 2022. Mole Park The tour was perfectly organized and the drivers and the guide were very kind and professional. We saw a lot of elephants, baboons, antelops, crocodiles, etc, mainly in the morning safari and in the walking onePosted on Ian Palmer5. November, 2021. Fantastic 13 days birding in Ghana with Kalu My wife and I spent 13 days on a birding trip in Ghana in late September 2021 arranged by Blastours, with a bird guide (see below), 4x4 vehicle, driver, hotels and meals all included. It was very well organised and we had a fantastic time. We had the privilege of having Kalu Afasi as our bird guide and he is amazing: he does not miss a bird and even if you miss it he will find it on his scope. He knows all the best birding spots. Further, both he and the driver, Selassi, were great company and we learned a lot about Ghana from them.Posted on Susab16. October, 2021. Tour in Ghana with car and driver This was a very good experience! I traveled with my mother. We rented a car with driver for. 9-day tour to Western, Central and Ashanti region in Ghana. We planned the itinerary and the selection of accommodation ourselves. The driver (Samuel) was very kind, respectful and an extremely good driver, not taking any risks on the road but knowing when to pass another car. No sudden braking, and we felt always safe. The car was clean and high quality, SUV-type, smooth driving even on rough roads. Thank you!Posted on CGN8. July, 2021. BLASTours Very engaging and fun experience!!! Would recommend for anyone all ages! Great tour guides and lovely sightseeing.
