The Awubia festival is celebrated in Awutu Beraku in the Central Region by the people of the Awutu Traditional Areas. A festival of Chiefs and people which comes off from the last week of August to the first week of September annually. This festival ensures and promotes healthy agricultural competition amongst the people, unites the people and signifies the end of the farming season and the harvest period of the agricultural produce.
