DESCRIPTION:Evala is an initiation and festival of wrestling in Kabye land. This ritual initiation is organised in the month of January for the youth as a passage into adulthood. The festival lasts for a week. The final ceremonies is held between 11th – 14th  of July\, and coincide with the 2nd Saturday of that month every year.
