Air Transportation: When booking your trip, BLASTours will endeavor to arrange the best airfare available in the category you request. The airline tickets issued by the airlines concerned shall constitute the sole contract between these airlines and the passengers and /or tour members of any of these tours. Should you cancel your trip or change air reservations before or after departure, cancellation penalties by the airline may apply.

Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total tour price is required at the time of booking a tour. The balance is due no later than 14 days prior to departure of the selected tour program. If the reservation is made less than 14 days before departure, the entire cost of the tour must be paid at the time of the reservation. Accepted methods of payment include bank transfers, wire transfers and credit card payment through an online payment platform. 

Confirmation: Confirmation and initial tour information will be mailed upon receipt of the first deposit. Final documents will be mailed approximately 4 weeks prior to departure.

Cancellations: You have the right to cancel a reservation but it must be done in writing either by mail or fax. We do not accept cancellations by telephone. Cancellations received less than 28 days prior to arrival will be subject to the following forfeit fees:

27-21 days prior to departure     – 15% of the entire tour cost
Less than 21 days prior to departure     – 25% of the entire tour cost
No show – 100% of the entire tour cost

Accommodation: All quoted tour prices include accommodations based on double occupancy. However, amendments can be made for single occupancy. Should a change of accommodation occur for any reason, BLASTours would substitute it with another of similar category.

Liability: BLASTours and its agents give notice that they act only as agents to the passenger in all matters relating to travel and for the various companies, owners, contractors and suppliers providing means of transportation and/or all related travel services and assumes no responsibility whatsoever for injury, personal illness, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from: act of God; detention; annoyance; delays; expenses arising from quarantine; strikes; thefts; pilferage; force majeure; failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled; civil disturbances; terrorism; government restrictions or regulations; and discrepancies or changes in hotel services in which it has no control over.

BLASTours reserves the right to make reasonable changes in the itinerary when deemed advisable for the comfort and safety of passengers, which includes but is not limited to: the substitution of hotels, alteration of the itinerary, and reversing in the order of the places to be visited. BLASTours and other cooperating agencies reserve the right to remove anyone from a programme without refund who acts in a manner which is unsafe for themselves, or inconsiderate or unsafe to others, and or who ignores the requests of their guide(s) to act in a safe and responsible manner. On advancement of deposit to BLASTours, the depositor agrees to be bound by the recited terms and conditions.

Obligation: The participant, by engaging BLASTours and making a deposit and/ or full payment for travel arrangements specified, acknowledges the position of BLASTours as stipulated by the foregoing, and agrees to hold BLASTours blameless in making arrangements on his/her behalf, provided the same shall be made through generally accepted owners, suppliers, wholesalers and /or contractors at the time of engagement, and further agrees that restitutions damages, if any are claimed, shall be sought directly from the owners , wholesalers and/or contractors. The participants further agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this proposal of BLASTours for services to be performed.

Insurance: We strongly recommend, for your own protection, that you and all members of your party take a suitable short term traveller’s insurance policy to cover baggage loss, accidents, medical emergencies, trip cancellations and the cost of assistance, including repatriation, in the event of an accident or illness whilst you are abroad and it is your responsibility to ensure the insurance you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs.

We recommend that you contact your physician before beginning your tour and that you ask him or her to provide you with the current World Health Organization (WHO) or Center for Disease control (CDC) recommendations for the country (s) you will visit on your tour. BLASTours takes no responsibility for any health requirements in Ghana , although, were possible, BLASTours will try to provide current information.
