(Day 1)

Arrival at the Kotoka International Airport. A representative of Blastours meets group on arrival for a transfer to the hotel. There will be a tour briefing over a welcome dinner. Overnight stay in Accra

(Day 2)

Start the day with an Accra city tour, beginning with the Independence square, the Arts Centre for National Culture, the Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum. After lunch on the University of Ghana Campus , we visit the Aburi Botanical Gardens, which offers a rich collection of tropical flora. Not far from the gardens are craftsmen who use wood and leather to create art unique to Ghana. Also visit the bead market in Agomanya. Return to Accra for dinner. Overnight stay in Accra 

(Day 3)

Set off for the Central Region. Upon arrival we visit the Cape Coast and Elmina castles, the best preserved castles and also declared as UNESCO World heritage sites. Also visit the Java Museum. In the early evening, take a walk through the Cape Coast Township to experience the lifestyle of the Fantis. Dinner/Barbecue will be at the Kokodo Guest House. Spend the night at a resort in Elmina

(Day 4)

Visit the Kakum National Park, which offers an excellent virgin rainforest and a walking tour on the canopy walkway. Stopover for a lunch break at the Hans Botel, a resort partly built on stilts. Spend the rest of the afternoon free at the beachbefore dinner. Spend the night at a resort in Elmina

(Day 5)

Set off for Kumasi with a stopover at the Obuasi Goldmines. Enroute we will visit the Obuasi Goldfields for a guided tourof the mines. Upon arrival in Kumasi we visit the Manhyiah Palace, seatof the Ashanti Kingdom and the Prempeh museum and the Kumasi Cultural Centre. Enjoy aliveband performance in the evening. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kumasi

(Day 6)

Start the day with a visit to the Bobiri forest and Butterfly reserve, with a wide collection of birdlife. This will be followed by a visit to the Bosomtwe, a crater lake believed to have been created by a fallen meteorite. A tour to the fishing villages that surround it reveals the cultural practices of the villages in the hinterland. After lunch, the day will be graced with a naming ceremony at a crafts village. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kumasi    

(Day 7)

Set off for Akosombo after breakfast. Upon arrival, we visit the Akosombo dam for a conducted tour of one of the largest man-made lakes in the world. After lunch, experience a two hour boat ride along the Volta River. Spend the a riverside resort in Akosombo                                                      

(Day 8)

Set off for the Volta Region to visit the Wli waterfalls, the highest waterfall and the village of Logba Tota. Trek through villages, cocoa farms and mountain rain forest to the waterfalls, whereone can take a refreshing bath. Stopover at the Grottos in Kpando. In the late afternoon, we visit the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, where monkeys live in complete harmony with the residents.  Spend the a riverside resort in Akosombo                                                      

(Day 9)

Early morning departure for Togo’s capital Lome. Enjoy a tour of the city, which includes the Place de l'Independence and the National Museum. Observe sacred voodoo shrines side by side with the city’s Roman Catholic Cathedral. Visit the  Lomé central market, or Grand Marche, where pearls, baskets, pottery and sacred pieces are on display. Also stopover at the Akodesséwa fetishes market, where one can find magic remedies and local voodoo charms used by local sorcerers. Overnight stay at a hotel in Lome                                                                          

(Day 10)

Cross the border into Benin, where we spend the day in Ouidah, the birthplace of the Voodoo religion. Ouidah offers a calm and relaxed atmosphere with its old colonial buildings and lush vegetation. We begin our tour with the Sacred forest and the Temple of the Pythons, both important voodoo shrines. By the main square, we find the imposing cathedral and the old colonial quarter. Nearby the Portuguese Fort now houses the History Museum. The exhibits focus on the slave trade and Benin consequent cultural links with Brazil and the Caribbean. Overnight stay at a beach resort in Cotonou

(Day 11)

One of the highlights of any trip to West Africa is Ganvie, the “Venice” of the Continent is a 500-year-old village on water. In ancient times people took refuge on Lake Nokoue from the attacks of the Fons and the Dahomey warriors, who were forbidden by a deep belief to fight on water. Overnight stay at a beach resort in Cotonou

(Day 12)

Return to Lome for a Lome city tour which includes the Voodoo market, we will leave for Kpalime, through landscapes covered with luxuriant vegetation. Upon arrival we visit the craftsmen's school famous for batik, pottery, sculpture. Also visit the highest viewpoint of the country. Continue to Ada, located on the Estuary where the Volta River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Overnight stay at a riverfront resort in Ada

(Day 13)

Free morning with an option for water sports including jet skiing, boating, etc. One can also visit nearby villages along the river or just relax on the river bank viewing passing artisanal fishing boats. Return to Accra in the late afternoon. Overnight stay at a beach resort in Accra

(Day 14)

Spend the morning free doing last minute shopping before departure. (No overnight stay)
